How do I add resources to my private library in MusicTeacherNotes?

MusicTeacherNotes provides a private library where you can store teaching resources like videos, documents, and links—making it easy to retrieve and share materials with students.

How to Add a Resource to Your Library

Step 1: Access the Library
  1. From any page, click on the Library option at the top of the screen.
  2. Click the menu labeled Add Files, Videos, and Links.
To Upload a Video:
  1. Click Choose File and select the video from your computer.
  2. Add a title, description, and tags to help organize and search for the video later.
  3. Click Upload Video.
  4. Stay on the page while the video uploads (you’ll see a progress bar).
  5. After uploading, you’ll be redirected to your library while the video continues processing in the background.
To Upload a Document:
  1. Click Choose File and select your document.
  2. Add a title, description, and tags.
  3. Click Upload File.
To Add a Website Link or YouTube Video:
  1. Select Save a Link.
  2. Paste the URL.
  3. Add a title, description, and keywords.
  4. Click Save Link.

Note: For YouTube videos, click Share under the video, copy the link, and paste it into the URL field. Students will be able to create and save clips from YouTube videos to focus on specific parts of a song—an innovative MusicTeacherNotes feature.
