How do I share resources with my students in MusicTeacherNotes

MusicTeacherNotes makes it easy to share videos, documents, and links from your private library with your students to support their learning.

Before You Begin

Your students must be connected to your MusicTeacherNotes account to receive shared resources. If they are not connected, see the guide “How to Connect Your Music Students to MusicTeacherNotes”.

Two Ways to Share Resources

1. Share from Your Library
  1. Navigate to your Private Library from any page.
  2. Search for and locate the resource you want to share.
  3. In the File Actions Menu, choose the Share option.
  4. Select the student(s) you want to share with.
  5. Click Share.

What happens next:

2. Share from a Lesson View
  1. Go to your Lesson Calendar.
  2. Click a day with a scheduled lesson.
  3. Click Open Lesson for that lesson.
  4. Under the current lesson, click Add Notes and Resources.
  5. Click Add a Resource.
  6. Search for and select the resource.
  7. The resource will appear in both your lesson view and the student’s lesson view.
  8. The student can save the resource to their library, creating a copy just like in method 1.

Why Share Resources?
