What are Canned Messages in MusicTeacherNotes and how do I use them?

Canned Messages are pre-written messages that music teachers can save and reuse to save time when communicating with new or existing students. These are especially helpful for answering common questions or sending repeat information.

To use the Canned Messages feature:

  1. Go to the Main Menu and select Studio Management.
  2. Click on Canned Messages.
  3. Messages can be categorized by type — such as emails, text messages, or other formats.
  4. To create a new canned message:
    • Write your message in a word processor.
    • Click “Add a New Canned Message” in MusicTeacherNotes.
    • Choose a category, enter a title, paste your message, and add keyword tags.
    • Click Save.
  5. To find a saved message later, search using the keyword tags you added.
  6. To use a message, simply copy and paste it where needed.

Canned Messages are a simple but powerful way to save time and help you grow your student base more efficiently.
