What are the MusicTeacherNotes video player and video clipping tools, and how do they work?

MusicTeacherNotes includes powerful video playback and clipping tools designed specifically for music lessons. Both teachers and students can use these tools to make learning and teaching more effective.

Key Features

  1. Specialized Video Player – The built-in player looks familiar but adds practice-focused controls beneath the video.
  2. Quick, Temporary Clips – Set start and end points, click Play Clip, and loop that section. Adjust playback speed without changing pitch so you can play along accurately.
  3. Saved Clips – Click Create clips from this video, define one or more clip ranges, choose options like auto-loop and a short countdown, then click Create your clips. Processed clips appear in your private library.
  4. Tempo Control – Slow down or speed up playback while preserving pitch on both originals and clips.
  5. Sharing – Teachers can share originals or clips with students; students can also create and manage their own clips.
