Hi, I am Tom, a professional guitar and bass tutor based in Manchester offering tailored lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, both online and in-person. Holding a BTEC National Level 3 in Music, my education laid a strong foundation, but I truly found my playing elevate the most through years of gigging regularly with a band across the local music scene. While I am comfortable across a wide range of styles, I specialize in blues, soul, R&B, rock, traditional jazz, and have spent a long time deeply immersed in Gypsy jazz. Having been a teacher for over 10 years, this experience has constantly cemented my own knowledge while allowing me to proudly build up a thriving student base within my private practice. My Teaching Approach I adapt my lessons to suit each individual student, but my core mission is to help you build real confidence and total freedom on the fretboard. Technique & Tone: I focus heavily on developing a strong, healthy technique and a great tone so you sound your best from day one.
