Hi! I'm Elizabeth J. Kelley, and I'm a violinist, music educator, musicologist, entrepreneur, and conductor. I hold teaching a Bachelor of Music Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master of Music in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from Arizona State University, and currently I attend University of North Texas, where I am working towards my PhD in Music History. I'm an actively performing musician and scholar, but my true passion is pedagogy. My experience contains several years of both private instruction and public school orchestra teaching. While I'm still relatively new to the industry and am just establishing myself here in Texas, I have a strong methodology and teaching philosophy, which includes a focus on mentorship, collaboration, sequencing, communication, and developing the whole musician. Currently I am accepting beginning-advanced violin students, beginning-intermediate viola students, and beginning cellists.

Students (Parents for younger students) will need to register for a free MusicTeacherNotes account. If you are a current student of mine at Kelley Strings & Score and haven't registered your MusicTeacherNotes account, please click the orange button below. You will use the studio code (NXRDY) to connect your family account to my teacher account.
MusicTeacherNotes is free for students. They have an upgradable option available, called the Gold Plan, but upgrading is not required. I can manage our music lessons whether you use their free account or their Gold account.
MusicTeacherNotes helps music teachers manage their students and helps students learn music faster. By empowering parents and students to get much more out of private music lessons, learning music becomes a better experience for everyone.
