Hi! I have been teaching piano for over 12 years, including the last 5 years online, and I love helping students discover joy and confidence in music. Whether I’m working with a beginner or an advanced player, my goal is always to inspire growth, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. I teach students of all ages, blending music theory, performance skills, and music appreciation into lessons that are engaging, structured, and tailored to each learner. My style is student-centered and energetic, while still focused on clear learning goals. Families often tell me they appreciate the supportive and encouraging environment I create, where students feel motivated to try new things, build their skills, and celebrate their progress. Since 2020, I’ve had the privilege of teaching hundreds of lessons online through Zoom and other platforms, reaching more than 300 students in both private and group settings. I enjoy creating custom digital materials to make music concepts like rhythm, pitch, and notation fun and accessible. I often incorporate creative strategies, such as original songs, mnemonic devices, and short stories, to help even the youngest learners connect with music. Each lesson includes a balance of technique, memory skills, and performance readiness, with constructive feedback that helps students grow with confidence.

MusicTeacherNotes is free for students. They have an upgradable option available, called the Gold Plan, but upgrading is not required. I can manage our music lessons whether you use their free account or their Gold account.
