Violin, Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Pedal, steel, Cello | Wichita, Kansas

Nicholas Sharber

Hi! My name is Nick Sharber and I am a guitar and violin tutor with over 25 years of experience in the music industry ranging from live performances to teaching beginners to develop their skills and passion for music. I am experienced in playing violin with orchestras, fiddle with country bands, guitar with rock/blues bands and leading worship for church both on violin and guitar. I specialize in classical style and fiddle style violin, as well as both electric and acoustic guitar due to my experience but I am also experienced with many other instruments such as bass, mandolin and pedal steel guitar. My philosophy on teaching is to help students develop a passion for music by making it enjoyable and learning music that my students want to learn. I teach a combination of the Suzuki method and Essentials method on violin to create a good strong foundation with proper technique so that my students are well prepared to learn anything they want to learn as they develop. I am blessed to be gifted with musical skills and knowledge and love helping others develop this gifting.
