My name is Andrea Hutchison, and I have been directing choirs and coaching voice students since 1992. We moved our family to Lake Jackson in 2012 and quickly became a part of this wonderful community. In 2021, I retired from a 30-year career teaching music and choir to begin my "second act" as a voice teacher and musician. As a vocalist, I have had the opportunity to sing with choirs in DFW, New York, and Europe, both as a soloist and choral singer. Most recently I have enjoyed singing in the Brazosport College Civic Choir and the Gulf Coast Masterworks Chorus. I have also had the opportunity to sing with the Brazosport Symphony, the New York Pops, and the Brazosport Center for the Arts and Sciences. As a vocal coach, I have had students in the Texas All-State Choir and named UIL SSE Outstanding Soloists. Several of my students have gone on to earn scholarships to study music in college.
