Welcome! If you are looking for an experienced violin and music educator, I would love to hear from you. I am a highly trained professional violinist and registered Suzuki teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas, with teacher training completed in Suzuki Violin Volumes 1–10. My private violin studio serves students in the Frederick and Urbana, Maryland area. I especially enjoy working with beginning and intermediate violin students of all ages, including elementary and middle school students, as well as beginning adults. My teaching begins with a strong Suzuki foundation and gradually incorporates traditional methods as each student’s skills mature. My previous teaching experience includes New York City, the Washington, DC metro area, and Greensboro, North Carolina. Lessons are held in my private studio, where I provide a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment. My goal is to help students and families build a solid foundation in violin technique, musicianship, music theory, and the joy of making music.
