My name is Clayton Jennings, and I teach piano as a primary instrument. Guitar, flute, and vocals are secondary options. I have over 50 years of experience in the study and performance of piano, organ, instrumental, and vocal music. Formally, a graduate of Marygrove College Detroit, with a BA in Music Arts, (Studies in Pipe Organ, Sacred Music). I also received my Associate Degree from Oakland Community College Farmington Hills MI, where I studied Music Theory and Composition. My musical teaching is designed to teach students the basic fundamentals of sight-reading and strongly focuses on ear training as well. My personal experiences have taught me how to play and teach in simple form. That is, teach the student how to play more advanced in a shorter period of time, depending on the student. I also teach vocal lessons to individuals who are interested in establishing skill and levels that expand their personal vocal capabilities.
