How do I use the Library feature?

The Library in MusicTeacherNotes is your personal hub for storing, organizing, and sharing teaching resources with your students. Your Private Library is a collection of videos, files, and links that only you can see—unless you choose to share them with connected students.

Using the Library effectively can help your students learn faster, improve lesson quality, and make your teaching business more efficient.

Private Library

Your Private Library is where you save and manage your own teaching resources. You can add:

You can share any item from your Private Library with connected students. Students can then access these resources anytime between lessons.

Adding Resources to Your Private Library

Step 1: Access the Library

  1. From any page, click the Library option at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Add Files, Videos, and Links.

To Upload a Video:

  1. Click Choose File and select the video from your computer.
  2. Add a title, description, and tags.
  3. Click Upload Video and remain on the page until the upload completes. The video will process in the background.

To Upload a Document:

  1. Click Choose File and select your document.
  2. Add a title, description, and tags.
  3. Click Upload File.

To Add a Website Link or YouTube Video:

  1. Select Save a Link.
  2. Paste the URL.
  3. Add a title, description, and keywords.
  4. Click Save Link.

Tip: For YouTube videos, use the Share button to copy the link. Students will be able to clip and slow down the video within MusicTeacherNotes—helping them focus on specific sections.
